I got an auto email from anti today, regarding this poll.Polls of this type have suspicious validity, because of the ecological selection problems (participants are not randomly selected, they self-select into the poll due to their strong feelgings, they are therefore not representative of any particular group except those that feel strongly about the topic). Nevertheless, they make impressions. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/22087628/ If everyone who reads this site could click the link and vote, that would be very interesting to see the results. r ------------------ "Gentlemen, you can't fight in here. I was just going to post the link here. There's also the problem with multiple votes from the same person. I've got to go vote a few more times to make my point. IP: Logged |

Currently, for every two votes, the percentage points are driven one point on each the yes and no,[This message has been edited by Barry C (edited 12-04-2007).] IP: Logged |

Well what do you know? From about 70/30 against to about 51/48 for in only 20 minutes or so.I wonder how many times George voted. Of course, I've only deleted my cookies and voted multiple times in order to prove Ray's point. IP: Logged |

Does anyone think that reason they only show their coorespondant's picture from the chest up might be so we can't see george's hand up his backside doing the puppet trick? His article seemed a bit biased, but I may be overly sensitive. ------------------ Ex scientia veritas IP: Logged |

ebvan,of course it was biased! Since when does PMSNBC, oops, sorry, MSNBC ever tell an accurate or fair story. Ratings come only through sensationalism and anti-establishment thinking, not the boring truth. And even with that said, I'll bet more people read the anti-site than that "rag." Just look at industry ratings... Jim IP: Logged |

This is why I say things could shift real quick for us-------as polygraph was not much in the pin spotlight. Once polygraph becomes pervasive, than journalists will want to bring the giant down with a rock. The American public loves a good underdog story and with mass broadcasting of ruined and humiliated lives, we will be the ones wearing milkbone underwear.(I stole that last line from Cheers' Norm Peterson) ps If the heat comes on for Fox by journalists, Fox Execs can always claim that the polygraph community claimed 98.8% accuracy for the multi-issue tests. I bet George is beating up a batch right now over the possible face time for him. IP: Logged |

Sackett, you are right----when I want fair and balanced reporting, I tune to Fox news. Because integrity matters---and when I think of integrity, I thing of Roger Ailes.(teehee)IP: Logged |

That's the same song I was singing last night, Skip. What the "score" now? I see George didn't update his post, so I figure it didn't go well for him. I figured he'd be doing the same thing, but really, with that article and those questions, what would anybody expect - without us of course?IP: Logged |
